When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don’t feel so bad
My family and friends
Something would be wrong if this didn’t come in here. Although they aren’t “things”.
Music
I love music. I absolutely do. If I wasn’t in Engineering I’d be in Music. From Richard Bona to Nat King Cole, Bob Marley to Skrillex. And especially Kato Change.
(hihi, I have the hugest crush on him. Really, his music is amazing) Music speaks to me. To me music is one of those things, like food or sports, that unite people and can break through even the strongest barriers. It’s a drug, a language and a friend. I cannot imagine a life without music.
My study Bible
My mum bought me this Bible for Christmas because I’ve been wanting one for a while. I love it. It’s God’s word, along with maps, history, footnotes and cross referencing. And it’s a pretty colour.
Earrings
I love earrings. I really do. Especially big or long ones that dangle, and those with bead work and colour. I currently own around 60 pairs, I want my collection to be big and beautiful. Maybe over 100? 200? My birthday is this month, you know what to get me.
My tablet
It’s not an iPad, no. My dad gave it to me for Christmas. Well, not really, but he gave it to me a few days before Christmas, so I took that it was my Christmas gift. It’s a Huawei, not the ordinary tablet size. It’s the size of an iPad mini. Such a useful little thing. By giving it to me, papa is fuelling my social media junkie habit. But he doesn’t know, and I plan to keep it that way.

Black heels
I own a few pairs of black heels but these are by far my favourite. I think they are sexy and that they’re black is great. Because then I can wear them with almost anything. They also dress up an outfit that would otherwise be plain. I usually cannot stand sequins and other shiny embellishments on heels, but I actually really like the ‘bling’ on these. The only problem is that they pinch really badly. But they look good, so I’ll weather it out…
Engineering
What can I say… It’s my choice of career.
Maasai Cuff Bracelet
You know those bracelets that Maasai women wear traditionally? (I guess men do too) Well, for the longest time ever I have been wanting one… I got myself one last June. I lurrrv it. I really like bead work and colour, and this bracelet weaves both of those things very neatly. I think more people should shop for accessories at Maasai Market. That place is a treasure chest!
Lip colour
I have two weird habits. I sometimes randomly wear heels in the house. I can be in my PJs, or in a Dira/ Bhati and just feel that I need to wear heels with that. I also randomly wear lipstick. Sometimes before I sleep. It’s weird.
I own 5 lipsticks that I really like. I intend to buy more, and of better quality. Especially Mac’s Ruby Woo. I have heard good, good things about that lip stick. I have heard that Revlon and Clarins are great too. My favourite lippie is the Rimmel one. Amazing Red. Lipstick is nice because it’s a quick and easy way to do your face up.
So I forgot to take down the colour names and numbers of these. I know the Rimmel one is ‘Diva Red- 500′. If you request for them I will send them to you.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE THINGS?

That Yardley one looks like a mortician’s favourite
go away! it fell and broke.
